Commemorate the contributions of the German-Americans of Cincinnati by being part of the HERITAGE WALK.

What Is It?

It's a 24 by 26 foot brick walkway directly in front of the new German Heritage Museum, operated by the GACL at West Fork Park in Monfort Heights, Green Township.

Be A Part Of It!

The Heritage Walk will contain 2,808 bricks, all either 4x8 or 8x8 inches, engraved with the names of anyone who wishes to become a part of Cincinnati's history.

The Cost?

For a tax-deductible donation of $35 (for a 4x8 brick) or $50 (for an 8x8 brick), you and your family can become part of Cincinnati's long and important German-American heritage.

The Purpose

The purpose of this walkway is to have a way for the people of Cincinnati to celebrate their German-American heritage by becoming a permanent part of the new German Heritage Museum. In addition, the funds derived from this program will assist in the construction of the museum.

It's For Everyone

You need not be of German ancestry or even from the Cincinnati area to become a part of the Heritage Walk. You need only be proud to be a citizen interested in preserving a large part of Cincinnati's history.

Gift Or Memorial

An engraved brick will make a thoughtful and lasting gift to a relative or friend. A brick can also be a way to memorialize your ancestors and others. Gift cards available.
